Louis is wearing #blueforamc because June 30th is Arthrogryposis Awareness Day! Spreading awareness of Arthrogryposis is important for many reasons including:
Encouraging inclusivity and breaking down stereotypes
Providing hope and promoting community among those living with a rare condition
Sharing treatments and interventions as well as demonstrating the need for more research
It can be tough to live with arthrogryposis for a number of reasons. But Louis is an extremely bright, capable, and perfect human being who is learning how to navigate the world in his own way with the support of his family and friends. He and his family feel very fortunate to live in a time where there are disability rights, effective medical interventions, and broader social acceptance.

"Let's stop "tolerating" or "accepting" difference, as if we're so much better for not being different in the first place. Instead, let's celebrate difference, because in this world it takes a lot of guts to be different."
