Louis took a Florida vacation! He spent a couple days in the Palm Beach area with his parents and then they all drove to Melbourne Beach to meet up with his Nana, Aunt, and Uncle from Michigan.
While in West Palm Beach, he had a visit at the Paley Institute where he met Dr. David Feldman- an orthopedic doctor who specializes in treating complex conditions, including arthrogryposis. He and his team were very knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of great information. Best of all, they thought Louis looked like he is doing really well.
Louis went to the beach everyday where he had tons of fun playing in the sand and splashing in the water! He even loved the crashing waves! And we spent plenty of time at the pool as well (his parents only had enough energy to clean the beach sand off him once a day.)
We saw plenty of wildlife on our daily walks (and some farm life too!)
And, of course, we had to test out the Floridian playgrounds. Louis approves!
Time for us to all catch up on our sleep!
Nana can't wait to hit the beach again with her little man at Lake Michigan in June. You're growing so big and doing so many new things that I can't wait for the next chapter, Louie! 😍🌊🌞❤️
