Louis took a break from all his hard work in therapy to go on his first big trip to Michigan to see friends and family! He got to sit in first class on his way to Detroit (Mom and Dad told him not to get used to it) and he had a couple outbursts but overall did really well on the flight.
He got to meet Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and lots of friends in the mitten state- he even had relatives visiting from Taiwan! Everyone commented on what a smiley baby he is- Louis really loves meeting new people.
Louis also got to see lots of dogs on this trip, which are way different than his two kitties at home.
He took plenty of walks with his family and admired all the trees in the Midwest.
He was able to go his Nana and Papa's cabin in Northern Michigan for the first time too. He dipped his toes in Lake Michigan (it was a little chilly!) and went to a lighthouse for the first time.
He was an old pro on the flight home and didn't make a peep- he even let mom and dad put his noise cancelling headphones on him!
Finally, Louis turned 6 months on this trip and he thinks this half of a year has been pretty fun!
Louis was so happy to spend so much time with his family in Michigan and cannot wait to see them again.
